Has anyone tried the BBC Player app?
Yup! The app itself is free and there’s a small amount of free content. Then you can pay either $8.99 a month or $54.99 a year to get more content (those are the Canadian prices anyway). There’s some stuff I’ve never seen before so I’m interested. Maybe I’ll try it for a month and see. Some of the stuff is quite old and it looks like they aren’t adding much that they figure they could sell the rights to, but there were some shows I didn’t see at the time like the Smoking Room. I wonder how often they intend to add new content.Do you think it’s worthwhile and worth the money?
